An endless adventure about friendship, Buddy & Me is the story of a young boy who each night dreams of exploring a never-ending treehouse world of platforms, ropes, bridges and tire swings with his giant, floppy-eared, flying companion, Buddy.
Led by veteran game designer Jason Behr (Metroid Prime, Halo 4), the Buddy & Me team has re-imagined the “endless runner” as an approachable, charming story of adventure, wonder, and friendship appropriate for players of all ages.
Combining the high-quality painted backgrounds and cel-shaded characters reminiscent of familiar animated films, Buddy & Me wins over the hearts of kids, parents, and gamers alike. Indie Developer Sunbreak Games Announces “Buddy & Me” Kickstarter for Mobile/Tablet

Led by veteran game designer Jason Behr (Metroid Prime, Halo 4), the Buddy & Me team hopes to break new ground in the “endless runner” genre, with an approachable, charming story of exploration and friendship for players of all ages.

In the beautiful world of Buddy & Me, play as a young boy running through the enchanted forest of his dreams, alongside his best friend, a magical creature named Buddy. Buddy & Me combines the high-quality painted backgrounds and cel-shaded characters of an animated film, with the unique gameplay experience of a giant flying companion’s loyal assistance when in need. Run, jump, bounce, glide, and fly together through an infinite treehouse filled with interactive obstacles, curious creatures, and breathtaking natural landmarks inspired by the Pacific Northwest.
Fan-Supported Funding with Kickstarter
Sunbreak seeks fan-supported fundraising via popular crowdsourcing service Kickstarter (www.kickstarter.com) to complete Buddy & Me’s development, with estimated delivery in Summer 2013.
